What an eye opener for me. I took electric meter sampling each week during my two month billing cycle and the data was consistently 28% less KWh used than the year before. I thought "No way,Jose'". Then the bill arrived and my bill was 49% under in total KWh used (6820 KHw-3500KWh) from the same period (Dec08 to Jan09). I had to take out the benefit of switching from an all electric furnace with age to a new Heat Pump with obviously more efficiency. I established that by comparing my Apr09 and June09 bills for apples to apples comparison of the same heat pump and noted a 16% reduction of KWh used from the year before and the old furnace.
So by comparison the Dec-Jan10 billing netted a 33% reduction of KWh used after installing the EZ Energy device on my power panel. A reduction that saved me $206.00 from one billing period of use. The electricity rates are at a 6.2 cents per KWh.
I have determined that I have got to tell everyone I meet about this success and enable them to enjoy the same benefits. Also every electrician and any vendor that might benefit from it gets my message too (furnace installers,etc). All 10 of my boxes are gone and I must order more this week. Oh, darn the luck. Less than a week and they were gone. Granted I began telling people before this last week but the orders started popping. A couple of the orderers will be on-going because they are bidding their furnaces with the ES1200s as a package deal. They are including them as a protection device for their IC boards and as a power savings device for the customers. That's a great combo for them and for me.

His average daily KWH use in July 2008 was 32.1, while his average daily KWH use after installing the ES1200 units in July 2009 was 27.9. This represents a savings of approximately 13% over the same month last year.
EZ Energy:
I just got my first electric bill in August 2009 since installing the two EZ Energy Savings ES 1200s in my home in Holbrook.
One is installed on the Electric Panel and the other on the One Horse Power attic exhaust fan. (70 feet from the electric panel)
While it is hard to compare July 08 to July 09 usage, I did run the Attic Fan a lot and the AC some. Only two or three days with neither of them running. The Attic fan draws about 7.5 amps with the Energy Savings attached. (a 28% reduction compared to running without it attached) The AC unit is about 55 feet away from the Electric panel. Plus the basement de-humidifier ran almost constantly. I have a very moist basement.
The average daily KWH use in July 08 was 32.1.
The average daily KWH use in July 09 was 27.9.
That comes to a 13.1 % KWH savings.

Just a quick note that the ES1200 saved my home electronics yesterday on 6/22/2010. We had several rounds of severe storms pass over yesterday, one of which produced a lightning strike a few houses over and set the house on fire. We were lucky not to be struck, but the high winds were another story.
The 75 mph wind gusts were causing the power lines to slap and cause power surges everywhere on the local grid. Although the lights dimmed then came back to normal, we didn't detect anything beyond the normal brightness. The lights did briefly, and I mean really briefly, get brighter but hardly noticeable. That alone means the ES1200 was saving us in a power-surge role and it protected my home's electronics!
